It was determined that the front passenger side wheel bearing is bad. According to the Haynes Manual,it looks like the hub and bearing are one piece.
It looks like it is something that I could do myself? Has anyone else replaced theirs? My car is 2000 v6 with 5 speed tranny.

If it's a non-servicable wheel bearing then your going to have to replace the whole hub which isn't that bad of a job. I've never done a wheel bearing on a mustang yet so im not sure if they are servicable or not.

Lest I am mistaken, the 94+ front wheel bearings are indeed non-serviceable. The hub and bearing are all one piece.

It shouldn't be too bad to replace if you have the tools.
