72 mach 1 value??

Hey guys I'm brand new to the site and I have a question. I have a 72 mach 1 with a 351C. It is an automatic car with a/c. It hasn't run for about 6 years because I blew a head gasket in 2001 and haven't had time to deal with it because of college/work. I am wanting to get rid of it to make room in the garage, but I don't have a clue how much to ask for it. The body work is pretty amatuer, and the paint was a cheap job. The interior is decent. The car is all there, but I know not running hurts the value. Any help would be greatly appreciated. If I've left anything out, please let me know. Thanks again.

i had a friend restore a gt500 and had it appraised to get the value....every varies depending on the condition of the car, how well it runs etc.... best thing i would do is have someone look at it and assess how much it would be worth instead of just ballparking a figure

You might want to look into how much having the head gasket fixed will raise the value if that is all that's preventing it's running. If it raises the overall value of the car by more than what it cost to repair, it might be worth it...

If i were looking for a project like that i wouldn't pay more then 2 to 2500 bucks.

Watch ebay and see what they are going for will give you a idea.
