Well since wanting one from the age of 13, just last Saturday I picked up my new 95 Cobra. I thought I'd post because I'd like some advice on how common/uncommon/rare this purchase was.
So it's all stock minus throttle body, sparks, and stainless steel exhaust. The interior is 100% perfect. And it has 73,000 miles. My family (car junkies) tells me this is very uncommon, but I just want to get some more opinions. I'll also probably be coming back for advice on some things, since I am new to the car world (I'm 17)... I've been looking at all of your guys cars and it makes me motivated! I'll probably put new struts on and lower the car just a little next, but since I'm new to manual transmissions I want to get that down first :P

Nice, another 5.0 cobra
There was something like 4995 of them built in '95, so its somewhat rare. Does it have leather or cloth interior? If cloth, thats very rare.
From a '94 cobra owner to you... welcome

looks very clean and very nice, who ever had it seemed to take really good care of it. Just keep it that way (dont leave it out side or at least get a good cover for it)
they are pretty rare but you can definatly find them here and there for a pretty good price (but yours is in better condition than most i am sure)
GET A SHIFTER! trust me.

oh no, i didnt notice that... take off the front tag definatly, I would probably even have the bumper repainted to cover the horrid bolt holes... unless of course you live in a stupid state the requires front tags the you have no choice.
Make sure you do not weight your rims on the outside (factory oem style) but on the inside.

Nope, I believe only the termy's got the honor of having cobra on the bumper and some other SN95 year, I can't recall exactly though.

94 and 95 cobras didn't have the rear cobra bumper, that started in 96 :P Also, I took off the plates right away! And yes, you WILL get pulled over in CA without front plates.

Here's a little lesson for ya to help tell the difference of a 94-95 from the 96-98
94/95 cobras have the "crab claw" spoiler with built in LED brake light, the trunk lid had no hole for the 3rd brake light as its in the spoiler, the "v6" hood and rear bumper, and the cobra front bumper.
96-98 gained the rear bumper that says "COBRA", as well as the nostril style hood, and the "GT" style spoiler with the brake light integrated into the trunk lid.
That should clear it up
