So im looking to get ultimate handling in my car. I was thinking maybe I should go with a coil over kit, my fox is only gonna be used for a cruiser and weekend warrior on the street.

I figured I was gonna look into this kit here, just wondering if its a good option or if i should consider doing a differ setup

StangSuspension.com - mm coil-over complete package - for 79-89 mustangs ...

If you really want the "ultimate" handling, that's it.

It's what's going on the '89.

4.5 grand in one shot is a little pricey for most people - even if it will do unbelievable things for the car. If all you do is pick up MM's coil-over kit, you'll be doing great until you want to get your next add-on

I am saving for a MM coilover kit with the Bilstein Sports struts/shocks, MM subframe connectors, a Haans shock tower brace, MM strut tower brace, MM K-member brace, 1/4 wheel spacers, Billetflow rearend brace, and some sticky tires.

Eventually I what to get a MM rear Grip Box to do away with the nasty wheel hop, but the labor to install that will probably be through the roof.

Only thing with that kit is I already have a few items already that I wont need. But that is a good idea to base my suspension off though

Guess ill be doing the coil overs and then do everything else off that list

damn still cant believe I never saw that on their site friggin blind

you best have level 5 halfshafts in that equation and a rear brace as well

I did put a rear brace in the equation, and I feel that if you can elminate the wheel hop that level 5's are unnessessary, plus people are having problems with them not fitting properly and wearing out parts in the rearend.

That is an incorrect assumption...if you add power, you need to upgrade your halfshafts, hop or not. They will break with traction just as easily as they will with hop. Many have snapped them on launch before the wheel even makes 1 full rotation.

Stock shafts = russian roulette.

Yeah but it reasons like this that I don't want the Level 5's. I read about this in several threads. Maybe it improper installation, but if D.S.S can't machine their parts any better then I don't really want them.

Well, that is the chance you take. Upgrade + proper installation = warm fuzzy feeling or Stay Stock + increased HP = russian roulette for survival.
