Well, I bought something today. On my way to a fun little setup, and I'm piecing it together.
What you see before you is a Kenne Bell 1.5L blower compressor.

I thought the KB for the pushrod cars were only able to mate to a GT40 lower. I always thought it's like hooking a leaf blower up to a straw and trying to clear the driveway with it. Not a very efficient setup, but since it's a budget build like you say it is, I guess it's worth it.

Actually, later on you could upgrade to the 2.2 Blowzilla which is good, but the bad is, I was right about the lower manifold.
