I am interested in purchasing the Procharger P-1SC-1, but before I make this purchase I'd like to find out how these systems are working in the Mustangs. I have a stock 06 Mustang GT, I am looking to keep this a street car, I might go to the track every once in a while. I am talking to a shop down in Houston Texas called Houston Performance, they are helpful with all their information they give me. They told me 8-10PSI will not hurt a stock 4.6.
going from 265RWHP to 440RWHP, that just sounds too good to be true.
I want to keep the rest of the car stock, is that possible or do I have to make any other modifications? Houston performance told me they installed a Procharger on a 06 Mustang GT with 10PSI and keeping the rest of the motor stock the car had 460RWHP, they decided to tune it down to 440RWHP to keep it from getting any detonation. Houston Performance also told me It also depends on who is tuning the car, I guess the shops do a better job of fine tuning than the hand held programmer. I don't know, that's why I'm here I'm just looking to have fun with my mustang and eat up some SRT-4's and some civic's I can't stand Briggs and Stratton motors!!!!

The KEY is in the tune. Make 100% sure you get it tunned by someone that REALLY knows what they are doing, you should ask around to others that have done what you are looking to do and figure out where would be the best place as it varies by location.
The 05+ GT reaches its limits around 450rwhp/tq much more than that and you are in the danger zone. I wouldnt push it quite that far if I was you as the engine isnt strong enough to take it for a long time.
Those numbers do seem high for only 10 psi but the 05+ gts have better flow and higher compression if I remember right.

Not trying to change your mind but i would not buy a P1 i would get a D1.The tune is what matters like purevenom said.We have a 03 gt making 420 on stock internals. The 05-07 should not have any trouble at 400+hp if it is tuned correctly.

Don't over look the Suspension and you may want to upgrade the brakes

Yes, be careful with the tune. Me and Andy ended up having to do it, and that resulted in a HUGE pain, but at least I am happy with it. Ask around, and if you don't know anyone to ask, find them.
