Hey, guys. And gals?  I just found this forum, so I thought I'd see what you people are up to. I live in the Dallas area.
I finally bought my first Mustang in November. I'm 60 years old, and I've always wanted one, but never got around to owning one until now. I love it.  It's a 2007 GT. The engine is stock (so far), but I've added hood stripes, side stripes, rear blackout, black spoiler, knock-offs, and window tints. I did all the work myself. Here's some pictures:

welcome. jw why u blacked out all of the plate pics when, on the mod lists page, u write out what it actaully says. why do ppl black out their plates at when postin pics of their cars? not tryin to be sarcastic but i actually wanna know. thats the new competition orange color, right guys?

I took those pictures before I got the new plates. Dunno, I see other people black out their plates in pictures. Someone told me that they do that so that no one can find out their address from them. I think that costs money in most states, so they would really have to be mad at you I guess.
What do you other guys think? Why is it a bad idea to show your plates?
As someone else said, that's grabber orange. It's also called valencia orange by Ford. In fact, when I tried to buy touch up paint, they couldn't find any grabber orange in the parts list. I gave them the paint code, U3, and they said that U3 was valencia orange. It's exactly the same color as my car, so those are the same color. |
