3.55 or 4.10?

My car is blown and I'm getting ready to change the pulley to a smaller one, run mid-length headers, off-road x-pipes, and get it dyno'd. This is my daily driver and I don't have a specific amount of miles I drive every week. I could drive 50 miles or 500 a week. Never know. I was wanting to see what you guys thought about me changing my 3.55 to a 4.10. I personally think I should stick to the 3.55 as I think I'll just be spinning tires with the car being supercharged with the smalller pulley. I have also read somewhere the same thing. I also don't think it's really worth the money to go to 3.73 as there's not that much noticeable difference in 3.55 vs. 3.73. So that's kinda out of the picture.
What are some of your opinions?

eh, if youre a 5spd id definately step up to 373's and stick some really good tires out back.
now if youre a 6spd then no, id stick with the 355's. the 03/04 termies come with 355's stock and with the 6spd IMO they made for a perfect combo.

I am having this same debate with myself. My arguments are this:
Pros:
Great throttle response
Possibly quicker ET's
Cons:
I can't keep the tires hooked with 3.55's...it will only get worse with 4.10's
I don't track it that often, so do I really need to worry about a couple tenths in the 1/4?
2k rpms @ 75 now...will be 2500-3k with 4.10s which will = instant pull over if I roll by a cop with the volume of my exhaust
Honestly, I say stick with the 3.55's. At least, that is where I stand in my current debate as of today...which could change by tomorrow...it always does. lol

A guy I know runs a supercharged twin screw saleen with a smaller pulley and runs 4.10s. He's a big drag guy and spins his motor up to 6500 RPMs, so the gear is just perfect for him.

All of that is my same opinion. My car will never see the track so those tenths don't mean **** to me. It's those vettes, cobras, and porsches that are my concern. I barely manage to keep the tires hooked now either so 4.10's WILL keep me spinning IMO. I'll see AFTER i get the mods done

There's a guy here that has 4.10's in his 03 cobra as well...and I beat him everytime we mess around because all he does is spin...I also have the quicker 1/4 time which is really sad for him.
I guess it boils down to...4.10s if you are going to go to the track a lot or do a lot of street "meet and greets"...3.55's if it is going to be just for cruising and having fun once in a while.

I would keep the stock ratio, the 4.10s sound nice but ... when you cant hook up it doesnt do you any good and you will save about 2mpg with the 3.55s~ (50/50 driving mix)

Keep the 3.55s. If you can't hook it, you're just wasting time anyway.

4:10s in an automatic, 3.73 in a standard
but if you've got 3.55s already, I wouldn't bother going up to 3.73s. And like BBunt says, if you already can't hook up, it's a huge waste of time.
.... that's my opinion anyway.

All the above is pretty much the responses I expected and agree with. Honestly, I'd like to go up to 3.73 but I really don't think it's worth the money. Now once I get all my extra work done, then I'll judge from there, but seriously doubt 4.10 would be a good idea. I'm running Toyo Proxy's and they just cost way too damn much to burn up all the time!
