lolz not with a salvaged title. i dont think you can get a bank loan/credit union loan for a salvaged title vehicle, so any buyer will need 21k cash, and im pretty sure anyone with 21k laying around in greenbacks arent going to settle with a salvaged title termie, prolly put that down on a GT500 and finance the rest.

true, but why not find a GT or V6 shell since youre likely going to not use the stock 4.6 motor, the stock eaton, the 6spd tranny nor the IRS out back anyways. IMO turning a Cobra into a pure racecar is like killing off a very special vehicle. unless, you can reverse the changes.

you guys gotta remember theres all differ meanings on a salvage
a buddy of mine got a Saleen for cheap why cause he got it as a flooded car only thing the flood touched was wetting the carpet in the trunk area and it was deemed as salvage title. (trust me he had this car inspected up down side to side as well)
Sometimes you can get a good deal on things this could be one of them. aint no biggie and you can get a bank loan on it obviously dont tell the bank the money is going towards a car aint that big of an issue

That only works if your credit is good enough to get an unsecured loan for 20k.
And...some states...or just Cali...won't allow a car to be licensed for street use if it has a salvage title...no matter what the salvage came from.

no you can still register it and drive it on the street just fine, it will have to pass inspection and will always be a salvaged title, and all that means is the car isnt worth anything on paper. I almost bought a salvaged title dsm before getting my current one, it was totaled out because someone keyed it so bad the cost to repaint it using the factory color cost more than the value of the car, so the insurance company totaled it out and the owner bought it back and resprayed it himself. insuring a salvaged title car i think might be a little more, depending on the reason it was salvaged.

hes just whoring it out to different regions. the contact number is the same. people do that alot around here, they post in the SF/Bay area and the Sacramento sections if they live locally to me, since central valley is relative distance to both large scale regions. thats how i sold my bike within a hour of listing it.

what region?
mine was the cheapest one on trader cause of the mileage (53k) for 22k$, which is why i jumped on it. others were around 26-28k. one at a dealership wanted 32k for it and it had 40k on the clock and looked like shit! fuck, even on SVTperf. you can get a KB'd Cobra for around 24k$ with under 30k mi in the SE/NE/MW regions.
