Just got back from the shop. Had my BBK LT's and BBK x-pipe installed. It isnt as loud as it was with just the flowmasters on. But when i rev it at a stand-still, it sounds fawking MEAN. Is it possible that the new lt's and x-pipe will burn out a little and get louder as with mufflers? As far as sound and performance goes, do you guys think i should stay with the flowmaster or change em out for something else. if so, what would you suggest??

It will actually get a bit quieter once everything gets coated. I would change out mufflers for just about anything other than Flowbastards.

i mean it sounds rediculously nice at high revs. but it just doesnt sound amazing while cruising n such. i have read some other forums and they say that for a nice deep sound, u should go with an h-pipe. do u think i should have gone h instead of x?? anyone have the link to the site that has all of the exhaust vids for anything you could imagine? would be much appreciated.

usually a xpipe is for a more exotic sound, if you wanted the drone and rumble down low you should go with a better hpipe. im gonna have my buddy take the center X part of my Mac O/R X and build a H using that X as a template. i dont know what i like better, low end rumble or the up top tone, so im gonna make it so i can swap them out whenever i want.
btw o/r Xpipe with Side Exhaust running through the streets of San Fran with the sweet roar of a 4.6 echoing off every building and skyscraper was fucking awesome. you wouldnt believe how many thumbs up, stares and whiplash head turns i got going down Market Street. prolly the single best memory i have thus far of Ellie.

2 valve mod motors sound very nice with a nice exhaust set up. Dear I say that the exhaust note on my old Roush was 10x's better than the exhaust note on my Cobra, but my Cobra is still a 10x's better car.

Your car is louder than you think... believe me have your dad or someone drive the car for you, with you outside the car... you'll hear it...
Yeah SLP loudmouth exhaust is loud, my buddy has 'em on his 04 GT... They are just noise though.. I don't like them
