x-pipe w borlas

Want to upgrade my old aftermarket exhaust. I talked to a good friend of mine who used to a own an exhaust shop. He suggested borla mufflers with an x-pipe. Would that sound decent on my 03 V6, or would an h-pipe work better? |

i have an o/r x with cobra mufflers on my 04 and i like it, not too loud, yet not too quiet, but i would like a little louder.......deep sounding too

I have always been curious about how borla's would sound....
I have an offroad x with a straight through muffler and well...it's annoying over 3k. I'd suggest going with a chambered muffler if you are wanting something that sounds good.

Borlas are great. thats what I had when I had my V6. I loved the mellow tone it gave and when you got on it it didnt sound all high pitched like certain other brands make your car sound like

yeah that is very true. A friend of mind has a pontiac grand am 03 i think. it has a borla cat back and sounds really good. i get jealous everytime i hear it. |

those GTPs are sleepers man. Theres a small club in my state and the slowest guy is high 12s and the fastest is mid 10s with no weight reduction them mofos are suttin to watch out for

haha nah in all honesty some of them were done nice couldnt ever tell they did anything besides the exhaust.
Im telling you they would give you and your cobra a run for your money but then the old motto goes to play that theirs always someone faster then you AND in teh end your going home in a Cobra not a Pontiac
