Short Throw Shifter

I was just wondering how hard it is to put a short throw shifter in my 97 mustang V6?

It is a piece of cake. It will take about 1/2 hour if you socialize in the process. Just a couple bolts to swap.

k thanx i just wanted to make sure it wasnt going to be some task.....lol....i'm lazy, don't wanna work to hard after i get done at work.

Took me 15 min it takes longer too clean the grease off your hands than install the shifter

Took me a while when I install the one I had in my Roush. The factory shifter didn't want to come out.

definitely... getting the factory shifter out can be a pain..

Leave the handle on it.
Unbolt the shifter base bolts.
Slam it from 1st to 2nd like you mean it and it will pop right out
