Aloha all, my name is keneke and I am from Hawaii. I havbe a 1998 V6 ford mustang and wanted to know if anyone has an answer to the sqeaks coming from the car after I leave it? I step out of the car after my weight is on the side of the door and I always here a sqeaking sound as if the shocks or the struts or the whole vehicle just squeaks????? Can someone help me out on this?????
and i agree with JROC. try to WD-40 bomb the rear suspension and bushings and see if it goes away. if it does, check for cracked or dry bushings.

over exposure or over use of wd will dry it out. but on application to ensure that's what the problem is won't. plus if you have bad bushings causing the problem, it's really pointless on whether it damages the rubber or not. you'll have to replace them anyway. if the bushings are not cracked already then switch to silicone grease if they are making the noise.
