3.73's

So I finally got around to getting some 3.73's for my car.......my question is what speedo gear am I needing to get the speedometer back to normal? It's a 95 GT by the way.

Manual Transmissions with 7 Tooth Drive Gear

The white gear with the stock 8 tooth (Thats the one on the tranny output shaft) gets it close but not exact. If you want it exact change out the gear on the output shaft to either a 7 tooth and then a red 21 or a 6 tooth on the output shaft and the yellow 18 tooth gear. I have a 95 gt with 3.73 and i just went down to the black 6 tooth and the 18 because with the 6 tooth, you can still get your speedo right if you plan on changing gears to 4.10 or even 4.30's in the future.

Mine is a manual, I guess I should have posted that huh? lol I don't plan on changing the gears again but I guess the option would be nice because ya never know what I might want to do someday. Thank you guys for replying with the good info. I can't wait until the gears come in and I can get them installed. Just one more weapon against those fools in the civics with the fart can mufflers
