i got a 14.033 with a cai, udp's and the diablo predator with timing maxed and fuel leaned out a bit.
id say mid 13's youd need a good tire out back, maybe Longtubes and a open exhaust, tb/plenum combo, and a actual tune. or just good tires and a even better driver mod can do the trick. ive heard of people with just a drop in k&n and good tires doing mid to high 13's out of good driving alone.
gears will also help, some 3.73's or 4.1's will definately bring a 14 second down to mid 13's as long as the driver isnt horrible and the tires arent sears specials.

what sort of trap speed did you have with that?
with my 02
I ran a 14.036@99.98 MPH with shorty headers and diablosport and a short throw shifter --> 2.1 60' -- I'm pretty positive that the 4.10s I'd installed and my drag radials would have netted me the 13.5 range..
Chickstang : do you have an auto or a manual trans?

just figure you need to shave off about .7 tenths if you have a manual tranny and get good at driving it just to be safe that should get you in the mid 13 range~
a tall set of gears, all the bolt ons, and some sticky tires should do it~

Sticky tires and a couple of bolt-ons should do it for a 99-04 GT with a five speed if you are willing, and able, to drive the piss out of it.

My grandmas husband ran a 13.7 at 101 in my 95 GT and it has an auto. The car has cai, msd ign., Underdrive pulleys, 3.73, shorty tuned headers, off-road H-pipe, 2 chamber flows and a shift kit. Since we have converted the car to a stick car. 95 1-4 and an 90 5th (.56). Anxious to see the difference now.
P.S. He has been drag racing most of his life.

i think it was 99.XXmph on the 14.033 run but i had a better 60ft, the 14.044 run was 100.XXmph but my 60ft wasnt as great. i have it written down at home what the differences were on each run, i think the faster run i shifted at a different spot or something.
but yeah, im sure with gears and especially with the better tires i have now it should at least be a 13.7 range.

Dam, you people need to learn to shift...... I ran a 13.79 at 101.9 with just a shitty 2.1 60' foot. 01 Bullitt with nothing but a tri ax shifter, bassani x, flowmaster 2 chambers, and a k and n drop in. Hell with DR's, the car could have gone 13.50's. You guys are talking about headers, tune, blah blah blah. All I did was after I launched, my right foot never left the floor(yes it's a 5 spd). Oh, and that was on 400 A treadwear Continentals .

I guess i will see how it all goes now that i have a 5-speed. I hope to shave about .4 or .5. Maybe I'll be around 13.2 or 13.3, find out soon as the weather breaks. However my car has developed a miss now and I have yet to figure it out, it doesnt always do it, it is not at any particular time and it seems to not want to idle when it is wet out.
