I was at the show in Bessmer, AL I posted about and they had Bamachips doing dyno tunes and I wanted to see where my A/F was at and all that (and it was only 50 bucks for two pulls)
I put down 380/360 @ 5700 he cut it short because I was running lean and you can defiantly see it by the lack of tq I am putting down. My A/F was 12.2 - 12.8 (started at high 12s and as the rpms raised it lowered to 12.2 he took it up to 6k but not wot and dumped fuel to cool the cats of course but I didnt get the hp/tq reading good cuz he dropped off the throttle so not sure what it would make at 6k...) which is defiantly to high to be running around at. He said its not super bad horrible (as in wont blow up but it needs to be fixed) but it needs to be corrected asap and I don't plan to go WOT until it is. He said thats what he has seen on cars with CAI and exhaust (tend to be a bit lean) so I plan to go back. I don't know if I will go back with him, I might just let him tune it now and get me a hand held until I can get to Amazon and put all my pulleys and such on it~
Once I get it tuned out he said I should be over 400/400 and thats my goal. At least I know I am lean and not to go WOT on it (I have probably been lean for the last couple months after I put the CAI on... but I have only drove it 200 miles and I have drove it easy so I should be fine)
Anyone know if Bamachips will be ok to let tune my car now until I get a pulley swap on it~ it will be around 500 bucks to get it done and get a hand held... just not sure if I want SCT or Diablo.. I think SCT is what amazon likes so I will probably go that way and make sure they can tune with it.

Amazon it about 2 hour from were I live and I'm thinking about going to them, but their is also Pro-dyno which is also about 2 hours from me and they are also very good and highly recommended and their cheaper and SCT Level 4 certified.

12.2 afr at WOT is lean?? I personally would not call 12.2 lean.

well the average was 12.4-12.5 and it seemed to stick in 12.8 up until around 3k~ then it slowly came down. It should be 11.7 and with that fix and actually taking it past 5700 I should do much better.

It's not...mine is 12.0-12.2 through the entire range...My car has always made more power when we leaned it out some. It doesn't like fuel. My aggressive tune just means I need to make sure I have good gas in it.
Stock tunes in these cars all start high and drift off lower. Every graph of a stock tune, even without CAI or exhaust has been close to 13.0 up to about 3k like you mention. I don't think it is your intake or exhaust doing it...it is the stock POS tune.
As for tuners....why not just go to RWTD? They are proven and know their shit. I don't know bamachips because you don't hear about them anywhere. RWTD on the other hand...you know their name. They aren't far from you really....just down in Mobile.

amazon is 271 miles nearly straight east and I am defiantly considering going to them. It is good to know I am not in a really bad dangerous A/F range~ but i still want it fixed soon. I looked at the graph again and he stopped the pulling at 5800 rather than 5700 like I thought. What do you think it will do with a good tune and taking it on up to where it should be in the rpms?

Yeah like, Rob said, 12.2 isn't that bad, but you just have to very careful with who you buy gas from. It is a bit risky though for some. I think mine ended up being somewhere around 11.8 or 7.
But especially on a FI car, the ratio should be on the richer side of Stoic. I wouldn't worry about getting an interim tune, you will be fine until you are ready to go to Amazon. It would be a bit expensive for just a not all that necessary band aid that will get taken off in a few more months/weeks.
As for Bamachips, that is the place where those tards from Cullman took my car when their dyno was down and they pulled the old chip out with the key on. They fried the computer and they told me that it was a staffer at Bamachips, but they lied about other things too. so who knows...

I was not gonna say it because its your choice but that tuner is not very bright.Your car running 12.2 at WOT is not bad at all trust me if it was 13.2 then yeah i would be worried.

Mmmmm..yeah...more likely than not, he saw a chance to get someone to go to his shop. But you do want to be careful with boost and A/F. Changes in atmospheric pressure can be a great concern, the quality of fuel, you need to leave yourself plenty of cushion. Like I said before, I would not bother with it until he gets his pulley on, but when he does get it on, I would go a bit richer.

mid 11's to low 12's are acceptable ratios, especially on a motor that can handle much much more.
now if you were starting to head north of the 550 mark, id like to see it at or under 11.5.
then again, you guys everywhere else but commiefornia get 93 octane. we get 91. you guys can run bit more agressive timing and fuel curves and get away with it.

I run 93 in it and it was a tail pipe sniffer and not an O2 bung check on the A/F... I want to get it ran with a better setup and actually take it to 6k+ and see where it will go instead of stoping early... Either way with a good tune and all I should be close to my goal of 400rwhp~ and thats good enough until I get a pulley. The average A/F on the entire run was 12.42 so it wasnt just 12.2s all day it started at 12.8/9 and came down starting around 3k but it didnt hit 12.2 until I got on up there.

I thought they said your WOT was lean? If it gets richer the higher the RPM, that's better, but yeah those spikes of 12.8/9 ARE too lean...
