ok so heres another dumb ? i put a fuel pump in my car i didnt have to drop the tank their was a service cut out put in but when i took it out their is no float on the assm is it some where else or was it removed cuz i noticed thier is only 2 wires on the harness

I believe thats correct, im about to do a fuel pump swap though, so if I find a more detailed answer i'll let you know, the pump should only have two wires.

The float is not located on the fuel pump assembly. The float is on its own, and its located on the fuel tank next to the fuel pump assembly.

< r u guys f'n serious...i don't remember not seeing a float when i swapped in my 110lph...im drop'n in my 255lph in soon and as usual i will b proven wrong...lol...i gotta sawzaw...maybe i will make me an access hole too.

yup it is to the left of the pump about in the middle of the tank
