And you know its capable of a much better time than that. You now what else is stupid, is this arguement. A Terminator makes probably 2 times as much hp from the factory in a car that was engineered to be a much better performance car, so no a Foxbody is not a better car. Yes a 500 hp Foxbody will accellerate faster than a 500 hp Terminator, and yes you can make a Foxboy into an extremely badass car, but its a lot more work than it is with a Terminator. If someone offered you a modified low 10 second C4 or a stock C6 Z06 which would you take? I would take the Z06.
Oh yes I am sure there have been full interior bolton Foxbodies run 11's and possabily 10's depending on what you consider boltons.
Do you really think a full interior Terminator with boltons and a ported blower is not capable of running 10's without N2O?

I'm glad we got all that out of the way and people won't be reading people's post they don't like. It'll do us all a favor so we don't have to read about people whining about people whining.
Last chance for this thread. If you can't stay somewhat on topic then it'll get closed.

Not to start up another arguement, but yes you can if you consider a ported blower a bolt on. Go to post # 10.
SVTPerformance
There are plenty of people that run low 60's with an IRS. Its just a risk to launch it as hard as you would a SRA car, especially when stock, then its a really, really big risk. But yes a SRA is a much better drag piece than a IRs on a 03/04 Cobra. From what I've read on other forums most Cobra owners will tell you that 500 whp should be enough to get you in the 10's if your a good enough driver.

This was one thing I was about to spout off too...there is only 1 guy that I know of that has done 10s in a non-sprayed eaton.
11s in a bolton are not hard at all for those that go to the track regularly. My biggest reason for not hitting them is I only see the track maybe once or twice a year.
I know of a good number of cobras in the area that are capable of 11s...but since I haven't seen them run, I can't say for sure what they do run.

Do you mean that you personally know, or that you know of anywhere?
There not much left to be said that hasn't already been said so I'm going to quit arguing with this guy now as I think he just likes to argue, and its aggrovating Brent. I'm sure he understands that a 03/04 Cobra is a badass car, and if he doesn't then oh well.

That I knew of anywhere...and then I found a thread on SVTP today while looking for people running dual JLT prefilters that had a nice long list of people who have done it on spray, port/pulley only, and non ported only...I think there were about 15 unique names on that list.

no argue from me I think the 03-04 cobra is one of the nicest Mustangs built but I'm a drag racer so me and an IRS don't get along if I was a road course guy it would be the car for me. your gonna really love this I'm looking at trading my car for an 05 C6 vette. if I do than I'll be in the IRS boat myself

Well, everyone makes mistakes. As long as you learn from this mistake ( assuming you do the trade ), then all will be forgiven. If you don't learn from this mistake...then I'm not sure.
