good rear suspension setup?

Hey guys, my bros rear springs need to be replaced. He has coilovers in the front, but my question was do you think he should go coilover in the rear or just get some new springs? Does anyone know where he could even get rear coilovers or a good rear setup. Thanks

You should check out maximum motorsports Maximum Motorsports :: The Leader In Mustang Performance Suspensions I have yet to see any suspension product out do them in quality and performance on the market. They are a little on the expensive side, but well worth every penny.

I haven't heard alot of talk about it, but from what I have heard everyone that goes coilover in the rear ends up regretting it... so I'd do some real hard digging to see what the up and up is all about on the subject. you know, don't just take my hearsay for written in stone.

I wouldn't recommend steeda, they just steel other designs and make them their own. I would recomment UPR or some Maximums for sure... We presently have southsides uca's and lca's on the notch with lakewood 50/50's and 70/30's and Eibach drag launch springs...... Ditching the southsides for some UPR's at some point...

I have also heard issues with coil overs in the rear. The kits that report the issues are generally cheaper but they all can have issues. Maximum motorsports it the only rear coil over kit I would trust as they go the extra mile to make sure the shock mount can take the abuse put on it.

MM LCA's and a set of 98 cobra style uppers (to prevent bind, urethane uppers really don't do much other than create bind.. its a bad design via ford)

You can upgrade to some of their H&R springs (get good ratio progressive springs in what ever brand you wish). You can always do a panhard and a tq arm to really get going... just prepare for the cost.
