I think in theory in what he is saying is pretty right if you actually think about it.
Using peanut butter was the far worst example because its man made and obviously something like that wouldnt happen.

actually... his experiment is terrible. You're assuming peanut butter has all the required elements for life. It doesn't. Not only that, but you need the STARTING chemicals for life, not the chemicals required to sustain it. This is the big problem. Several experiments have been done that have shown that the starting blocks of life can be formed in atmospheres that were present at the start of Earth... if you zap them with lightning. But he didn't do that. Plus, life isn't something that will happen if it can... it's hard, and takes millions of years to get the right combinations, if you're lucky.

you missed the point completely. Peanut butter isn't the start of life. Peanut butter doesn't have what life needs to start. It has some of the requirements for what we know of life to survive. If you're creating new life, who knows what it would need to start, or survive.
