More good news on my car /sarcasm

Begin venting...


Well, had to check some things out on the car today. Plugs are toast...about 2 months in...and they are toast...so much for irridium NGK TR6's and a ported SC. They worked great with my stock eaton...this set is shot already. So,

To Do: Replace plugs.

Next...rear brakes are shot. Not much pad left...need to replace...think I will just do the pads like I did the fronts to get by until I can afford the good stuff...

So...

To Do: Replace rear brake pads

Finally, the clutch is on its way out. It is starting to develop a little slip on initial rollout. Seems the firewall adjuster started backing itself out and things have developed. Probably never needed adjustment before...but people tweaked it...don't get me started. Ugh. Planned to replace the clutch with my 26 spline input next year...looks like I might need to replace it sooner unless I can get through the next 8 months with this one. It was a spec stage 3 with about 17k miles of 450-500 rwhp on it...

So...

To Do: Baby clutch or replace with Spec Stage 3+

Ok, looks like I might be with my friends for few hours on Saturday then, lol. I wasn't going to ask you about what Cody said about your car today.

Michael, sounds like it might be a Cobra day at our house, lol.

Sounds good though! I can't wait until the trip!!!! And hopefully we make it to the track this weekend. Did you tell Kyle about that too?

and yeah, plugs dont last long with boost, i swapped mine out every 2-3 months in the gst. seems anytime you up the power you figure out where your weak spots are. youll fix these and a couple months later more weaknesses will pop up. just something that comes with the territory, you either take it as it comes, or give up. i know you wont ever resort to the latter if i hear those words come from your mouth ill personally take you out back and put you down ol yeller style.

I went with the irridium plugs in hopes to get a little more life out of them, but it appears I might as well stay copper and just plan on changing them every 3ish months or so.
