I'm trying to find out what kind of times people are getting out of the 05+ gt without a blower or turbo just because I like many other people can't afford to spend 4 to 5k but I ant scared to spray the hell out of it are you?

Stock they run mid 13s with a good/average driver.

ya all i hear now a days is people stuffing a motor with forced induction which i love and is great but i'm hearing less and less of people newer cars all motor even myself i HEATED n2o untill i got my 06 GT and then i couldn't wait to spray the dam thing

What kind of 1/8th mile times did you get? Even though 1/8th mile times are for riceburners.
*edit* Was your "wife's car" not ever stock before you got it?

Not too shabby. Ran an 8.33 with a 2.05 60' here spinning first and second. Good prep owns our local dragstrip(more like old road). It hooks better on the street than it does there. The car definately has 1.80's in it. Can't wait to put the kit on this summer and run some mid to low 7's.

well tou know No Problem doesn't like to prep the track on wensday so that was the best I could get spinning the whole 60FT

I need to start looking at susp. parts now and when I get some more money I'm going to let Cody tune the car I dynoed the car at Thunder and got 348rwhp & 301rwtq I know the car has more than that in it

You got an NA tune then sprayed on top of it? Could you not get a tune for both???
Other question... What have you done to the drivetrain? Like what clutch are you running, have you swapped for better axles or anything? The times you are running, if you're still running stock stuff, you're on borrowed time, especially if the car ever hooks. You probably already know that, just thought I'd ask.
Other than that. BADASS. Great times.

i have an n/a and a nitrous tune. i have an auto tranny with stock convertor. i am getting new mosier axles and a carrier girdle soon

na im not one of those guys that doesn't want anyone to know i have i'm running nitto nt555r 245/45r17 i think their great for the street but not good enough for the track

Nice, actually HELLA nice for being able to get those tires to "hook" as much as they did. Definately can tell you are going through an auto, there is no way a manual could get half the 60' your running with stock suspension.
I'm running MT ET Street DR's and loving them, just if you use the car for a daily driver, they tend to wear out pretty quickly. I'm hoping to make it until september, we bought them in December. I love them though.

thats the next set of tires i want the size they make for a 17 is a 275 and it calles for a 9 in rim but i think squeeze them on an 8 in
