Went and check the codes that the car was throwing....

Got a cylinder issue (8th cylinder)

Code 22 - manifold absolute pressure or BARO sensor out of range
Code 29 - insufficient input from the vehicle speed sensor (VSS)
Code 34 - insufficient EGR flow or EVP voltage (SONIC) or PFE sensor voltage high or out of specification
Code 66 - VAF/mass air flow sensor fault, below minimum voltage

So if anybody can let me know how to go about fixing these problems that would be great

I think the best fix would be to put your car on a truck and ship it to me...and then look into another car.

I have a complete 92 shortblock

needs rings, but it had no noises/etc and had great oil pressure... all cylinder walls are ok

code 22 manifold absolute pressure or BARO sensor out of range
MAP/MAF sensor bad... , the MAP reads barometric(BARO) pressure
TRY CLEANING FIRST

code 29 insufficient input from the vehicle speed sensor (VSS)
sensor bad, located on transmission

code 34 insufficient EGR flow or EVP voltage (SONIC) or PFE sensor voltage high or out of specification

Remove the EGR valve and clean it with carbon remover. Prior to re-installing see if you can blow air through the flange side of the EGR by mouth. If it leaks, there is carbon stuck on the pintle valve seat, replace the EGR valve.

code 66 VAF/mass air flow sensor fault, below minimum voltage.
MAF bad TRY CLEANING FIRST

This is what I would do if it were me, Good luck!!

did all these codes pop up at once or did they creep up one at a time?...the last time my car poped all those...the battery and alt. were bad. replaced them and all the codes went away and the car ran like a champ. my pontiac formula did the same thing...whole lotta codes at once..replaced the shit and the codes were still there...new battery...codes disappeared, car ran fine.........this was weird shit, cause in both cases car started normaly and gave me no indication that voltage was low.....all the low voltage codes makes me think u got a power issue.....start the car and hook up a battery charger to it while it is running...if the idle smoothes out and picks up, then u know u got a low voltage problem. it's just an idea...perhaps all that crap is really bad on your car..i dunno
