My driver's side power window will not stop running unless I release the button. What is the cause of this? Also, will a 2000 GT leather back seat fit in my 97 coupe? Thanks
normally if you are holding the button, it will continue to run. care to elaborate on your problem. the problem, the way you stated it, seems a little vague.

When I push the button to make the window go up, the motor continues to run and makes a loud thumping noise, almost like it doesn't know the window is all the way up. The passenger side works fine; no noise once the window is fully up. Hope that is a better description.
it is. check the regulator. it may be going bad. see if there is some slack in it. if so, change it. if not, then i will step aside and let someone else take a crack at it.

no clue on the seats. the reg should be coming off the motor. i believe it is a couple of cables attached to your window track.
