Ok, pulled my plugs today and here is what I have. Number one, I am superly pissed off that he used lock tite on my plugs. I am shocked I didn't strip my heads when I took them out, specially number 4 cylinder...it was cemented in.
Anyhow...here is what came out...after I cleaned the lock tite off the threads. Let me know if anything looks fubared on them...they look fine to me other than being gapped by a blind man. These have about 3k miles on them.
The reason for this thread is because the car is idling like it has cams, and it doesn't. It feels like it is down on power. And just something doesn't feel right with it.
The full size pics are here...

These took some serious pressure to get out...so it had to be lock tite...they have never taken this much pressure when taking them out after installing them myself. These were installed with my blower by the shop...instead of me.

hell, I think they look damn good but I never had an FI motor, a regular motor: they should be a Grayish-tan to white in color indicates the plug is in the proper heat range as well as having the correct air fuel mixture. .

That seems to be the general consensus on the various forums I posted this on as well.
It is just pissing me off having the plugs be so far off in gaps...they should all be .032 ... and then to have the intake come apart in my hands when taking it out...ready to kill someone....won't even get into my clutch.

Wow... I cant believe they put that crap on your plugs... I would give them a piece of my mind AFTER I was nice and asked for a new set of plugs that they screwed up. That is some shitty quality and I wouldn't let them touch my car again.

Upon speaking with said person on the phone, it is claimed that never seize was used. However, when initially confronted on it, the words lock tite were thrown in there...and then the following sentence it changed to never seize.
One question, what brand of never seize is blue?
None the less, I ended up breaking one of the electrodes of the plugs pictured while re-gapping them. Ended up swapping them out with copper versions...and since 8 copper versions are only $13 after tax...where as 1 of those irridums are $8...I will just get in the habit of changing them out every oil change....along with my fuel filter.

Of Course he'll deny it and try and make you look like a total asshole. But anyone who's been in the same situation knows a shop will go into CYA mode !!
When I picked up my car at the body shop Saturday I had a major bi-pol monent .They fixed the clear coat but I can see 2 ripples in the paint and I went nuts

I'm not even worrying about the "go nuts" part. I'm just moving on. I was told I broke the coil...however I wasn't in the shop when the plugs were changed. Hard to break something when you aren't there. There was even a story about what I said and he said when it happened. The CYA is in full effect...and, I am going to CMA and just change shops.

Herbstang,
Remember to get in their face, say, "I want this paint right and I'm not afraid to go back to jail!" That ought to tighten them right up.

dam. as far as coloration go, they look fine, ive seen far worse plugs in shorter timeframes. gaps suck though, like they didnt even try to attempt to double check the factory gap, they just pulled them out the box and threw them in.
its very hard to imagine someone even using loctite on spark plugs, or anything for that matter. my shop teacher drilled into us never to use anything on plugs, and this is especially true with aluminum heads. sounds like the guy on the phone was either getting his assembly lubricants and sealers mixed up, but thats hardly an argument compared to the fact you really dont want to use anything on the threads in the first place.
good luck with everything. slap some new plugs in and take off your *insert shop name here* nameplate on your heat exchanger. there are some cars you can get away with half-assing shit, cobras are not one of those cars.
