I got a 2004 3.9l automatic w/ 104k miles on it...it's my daily driver. I changed spark plugs at aroung 80k and I feel it's about time to change the wires. What brand should I get? Heard all good about MSD but I have a feeling like they may be overpriced...suggestion? I definitely wanna keep the 90 degree style boot but there's all thickness of 8.5mm and 9mm what should I get? I bout my car w/ 000014.00 miles on it and it still has the original wires. I've changed fuel filter as well and changed my tranny oil both around 80-85k miles. What else should I do to keep my car going over 200k. I haven't have any mechanical problems yet and wanna keep it like that.

The FMS 9MM plug has 40ohms per foot,and last a long time! MSD is a very good wire as well . Don't get Accel, they are cheap.

Which are FMS, where do I find them and how much? What ohms do I have in my stock wiring and do I need more? If I get the FMS 40ohm/ft what difference will it make in the cars performance...noticeable?

Your not gonna see performance gains from plug wire But if you have to replace the wires might as well upgrade to a decent set
