does anyone know if a site that sells 17x10 bullitts? (black chrome lip) i want to run 17x8's in the front and 17x10s in the rear. I had 17x10.5 in my old car, but it wouldnt fit my notch. Now the picture i have i ran a 18x9 front with a 18x10 in the rear. They were wayy to big for the car, i had a finger distance between the frame and the tire in the rear, and i had rubbing issues in the front with the 18x9's. In all i just want a nice lip in the back. Any suggestions?

17x10.5 is normal size for a deep dish 17.
Did you have problems with the tire hitting or the wheel with the 10.5? Also, have you thought bout running a small spacer on the rear to allow for a 10.5 wheel. I just put a 5/16th spacer on my rears and eventhough that is a very small amount, it made a big difference in clearance and looks.

no the 17x10.5 wont even mount! that was the whole issue. But for some odd reason the saleen 18x10 did. So i was wondering if anyone knew of a place that sells 17x10s.

Were your 18's real Saleens? Just wondering b/c if you could find a bullitt wheel with that offset you'd be good.
That's got to be what it is is the offset differences.

Exactly, backspacing is everything on a fox body.

no replicas.. i'm planning to run a 17x8 bullit in the front with a 17x9 bullitt in the rear, what backspacing should i be going for?
these were my saleen reps
Chrome S Style Wheel (18x10)
these were my old 17x10.5
Black Deep Dish Bullitt Wheel (17x10.5)
these are the wheels that i'm looking at in 50.resto.
Wheel Size: 17x9
Bolt Pattern: 5x4.5
Wheel Offset: +24mm
Wheel Backspacing: 5.95
Wheel Size: 17x8
Bolt Pattern: 5x4.5
Wheel Offset: N/A
Wheel Backspacing: 5.72

Fox bodies, especailly lowered ones, have issues with the tires running into the fenders so make SURE they dont stick out enough to cause this. Runnign a 9 inch wide rim in the front with a 6.11 or 5.95 backspacing is right at the limit if not past (if you have stiff springs you are ok with a 1.5 drop or so... but if you dont and you are lowered a tad you will be asking for it)
Same goes for the rear. I would aim for some 17x8 in the front with the OEM 99-04 backspacing.

If you are buying 17 x 9 bullitt wheels, I hate to break it to you, but no matter where you get them, they are replicas. Bullitt wheels are only offered in 17 x 8's.

no i know that.. i was planning on running an oem 17x8 in the front while running an aftermarket 17x9 in the rear. they offer a black ford racing one so i figured it'll match.. i played the bullit match game before and lets just say i ended up with different colors haha.. learned the hard way.. even saleens. real saleens have the name "saleen" on the lip meanwhile everywhere else on the intrent dont have them. real ones cost a slap to yo mamas face! along wth cbra Rs 9.5 wide oem. noones offers them 9.5 in the after market. i had all the wheels and with all of them there was a lesson learned. but now that i have a fox. its just a tad difficult get the right combo
