Alright ever since Ive had this car there has been a slight knock/clunk sound coming from underneath the car. It used to be quite faint, sporadically came and went.
Lately Ive been hearing it more. I have been really tough on my tranny and rear since I got these heads on so I am thinking it lies in the driveline. The only time I will hear it is when Im off the brakes decelerating.
The sound isnt constant, seems to get slower as the car slows. I think it's in the driveshaft, maybe moving around on the rear end side. Im going to try and get audio but does anyone have any ideas off the top of their head?

Do you notice any vibrations along with the clunk?
I would think if it were the ds you'd feel it as well.

My dad had something similiar in his suv. Ended up being something really weird like a balljoint or something with the steering assembly, not for sure. I'll see if I can find out what it was that was acting up on his car.

K, I have vids in my gallery here... http://www.mustangevolution.com/gall...ry.php?cat=613
After really paying attention to it I am starting to get a little scared that it is the bottom end on its way out. I havent exactly been babying this car, its been to redline a lot...
Best vids of it are knock 4 and knock 5.
Dont pay attention to my lifter tick that goes away eventually.

I had the same prob with my 99 and come to find out it was my Spider Gears. Does it make the noise more so when you turn if so that could be it. Just through in a T-Lok to fix that prob, it worked for me..
