I'm gonna be taking the stang in for a much needed once over and I was curious as to what I can do to help power out while she is getting looked at. I was figuring better plugs and wires, better fuel pump and injectors, things like that. Car is pretty much stock except for whats listed in the sig so I was thinking of doing things ahead of time since it would be pointless to do these things later again. Would different injectors, pump, wires, and such work alright if they are more performance made then the stock ones? I was thinking that even though the pump may be made for higher flow, and the injectors and plugs, wont the computer compensate and only use what it needs or will the upgrades throw everything out of wack? If you think of anything else I could use I would appreciate it. Thanks

How far to you want to go? Do you want to check/change everything or just the most needed.

Well I'm gonna need to get some stuff replaced anyway, dont know what yet, so I figured I would upgrade those things with better parts. Figure spark plugs will probably need to be swapped, fuel filter, and maybe injectors but I dont think they would need to be swapped out but just have the injection system flushed.

Spark Plugs (oem are fine)
Plug Wires (oem are fine but aftermarket cost just as much so why not)
Coil pack (check it and replace if you want to)
Change coolant and clean out the containers to remove black junk (hot water)
and fill with 50/50 premix distilled (drain full engine not just radiator)
Change Brake fluid (changes to water over time)
Change Power Steering fluid (changes to water over time)
Change engine oil and filter
Change transmission fluid (and filter if auto)
Change rear end fluid
Change Drive belt if needed
Change PCV valve
Clean/replace injectors
Change Fuel filter
Check/change struts/shocks if needed
Check and get alignment if needed
Greese front A arm bushings (as best you can)
Check/change front/rear isolators if torn (usually only rear)
I am sure there are more things to do just dont have time to write any more now.

lol well yeah those things probably need to get looked at and done but I meant like what are some things that could increase performance while getting replaced. Like if I was to increase the size of my injectors and do something with my spark plugs or something like that would it effect my car's running with the stock computer or should I a tuner when I do that or something along those lines?

Increasing the injector size would be a waste of money without and real performance mods.
Unless you have nitrous or bumped timing, theres no need for different spark plugs.
