Ok so here I am on the classic muffler post...I want louder...Right now I'm running Hooker Super Comp Shorties, BBK Off-Road H-Pipe, and Dynomax Super Turbo Mufflers with no cats. I'm only looking to replace the mufflers right now, and I do not want dumps or open headers. Any suggestions on mufflers? I've been wondering about those new Flowmaster Super 44's...

My Borla mufflers (little round mufflers not full size) are quite loud vs most cars with only mufflers.

I heard a car with Spin-tech Sportsman Street mufflers, long-tubes and 2.5" x-pipe the other day.... sounded pretty damn good! Kinda tempting to give up my plan for Magnaflows on my next car.

Well, for one thing they use thin, VERY thin, metal. Also the flange that mounts to the head isn't one solid piece. There are 4 seperate tubed that go to the header. I just don't like em.

(1) Borla (if you have deep pockets) The Best
(2) FlowMaster (if you want something for a decent price)
(3) MAC (if you want cheap stuff for a cheap price)

What are you trying to say?
Cherry makes several types of mufflers now, not just the straight through glasspacks. I'd probably put them up there with flowmaster. They've been around for about the same time. I heard some straight throughs on a 67 Camaro with a 383, H/C/I, and some serious duration on the cam. Sounded awesome. But he had the motor to go with the sound. Made me want a set. Can't just throw them on something and expect them to sound good, though.
I'm with Yellow. You get what you pay for.
