I retired about 9 years ago and got bored. So I went to work at my local Ford dealership to get some medical benefits and take advantage of company discounts. I work in the wholesale parts division as a parts driver.
During a slow period the other day, I went up in the attic just to snoop around. Tucked way back in the corner are hundreds of Ford Racing parts -all NIB. Seems they tried becoming a warehouse distributor but never promoted it properly.
Now, they just want to get rid of the parts but don't want to take the time -they're all employees and don't care if the $$$ just sit there. I worked a deal with the owner and am selling off the parts to make room and get a few feathers in my cap.
Bottom line is I make a few bucks and folks will get some great deals.
