I would just go to an AutoZone, Napa, Advance Auto, or other autoparts store and ask them what they carry and maybe have them explain the differences between the produces they sell. I bought some Bendix pads from Advance Auto that I never put on my old car, they are suppose to be the same as the OEM pads but I'm not sure. Still they would work just fine I'm sure and their made by Honeywell, maybe you could go to an Advanced and ask about them. I defenantly wouldn't upgrade my rear brakes with performance parts before I did my front brake though. If you were looking for performance rotors and pads I would recommend companies like PowerSlot for the rotors and Hawk for the pads.

You could check out ROTORPROS - Home Page and see if they have rotors for you. I just ordered a set of rotors and pads for all 4 corners for $250 shipped for the cobra. Should receive them this week. Heard a lot of good things about them from the lightning guys...so we shall see.

OEM ford seem to work good for me, they dont have to much brake dust (at least what I have used)

I use OEM style brembo rotors with Hawk Performance pads. They stop like sumbitch in the Bullitt. Just be sure to brake(hahah) them in correctly like the instructions say.

why is it so important to break the pads in?? I just put new ones on and I'm not real sure how to break them in properly, I don't want mess them or my new rotors up.

Ditto on Hawk pads. And they only dust minimally, maybe even less than Ford OEM pads.

Hawk's performance street pads (HPS) have been very good to me..
Those + powerslot rotors = a huge difference in stopping power and pedal feel over my stock buick brakes.. low brake dust, no squealing/etc...

I used wagner thermo quiets on the rear when I changed mine. I don't need anything outlandish as mine is a daily driver, and I have no complaints on them. I've used those for the front pads too for years.
oh and I buy them at O'reilly's.
