youre supposed to "mark up" the price. if they want a bottle of rum and it costs $19.99, you tell them it was 25$ and you keep the rest. they prolly dont know any better, so if theyre giving you cash before hand, let them know theyre wrong when they think a 6 pack of smirnoff ice costs under 10$, its at least 15$ because only one store is open past midnight due to "laws" they dont have the mental capacity to try to validate.
