So im getting my cobra side skirts painted today and im trying to decide if I want my interior painted or not. I was thinking about the small peices on the door where you grab the door to close it and maybe the bezel around the cd player. You think that would be too much red? Im wanting to go with black gauges with red font later on so I dont think I want the bezel around the gauges painted it would be too much red. Anyone have any suggestions or pics?

Not sure. Me and color matching don't get a long at all I think you'd be pushing the red though.

I'm torn about doing the same thing with mine. I think, however, I am going to leave mine black and just get some red integrated into the seats and be done with it.
However, I seem to waffle on this depending on the alignment of the stars.

Mine used to be silver. I then repainted to a glossy black and liked it better.

What do you think about doing the ones on the door red and then the bezel around the cdplayer black then later doing the bezel around the gauges black also. thats way its not too much red but yet it goes with my red and black theme

I think they would look better all black personally. That's without seeing the red on the car to make a judgment. I'm not saying it will look bad just not sure how I would like it compared to black.

I think your new plan sounds better. Red is a strong/aggressive color. Too much is...well...too much. You dont want to overdo it. Where black is a color that can't really be over done, it goes with anything else, and is not a blatant "Hey look at me I'm black!".......well......umm....yeah I'm going to leave that alone.
But anyway, I would go with your new plan and I haven't had any new pics of the inside at all other than of my head unit. I was doing well enough to get new pics of the outside lol!

Since you are asking for opinions, I think the painted stuff looks pretty stupid unless you go with something like black. The whole red/yellow/green/white/<insert other bright color here> just doesn't look right.

id say do some subtle red stitching on black leather seats, maybe a black shift boot with red stitching. red is a color that is easily overdone, especially when going against black. i think the painting of the door inserts or radio bezels will be just way too much, i hate when people do that, it might look cool but IMO its borderline rice.
what would also be kinda sweet is some red/black racing seats that were more black than red but still had some red in them, then doing a red stitched black leather shift boot with a red and black knob, and maybe a cool set of overlays with red in them (black with a red ford logo or something from speedhut).

Well im shooting for the cobra look. the Aniversary add. had the door bezels painted minus the radio bezel..... but its a little too late the guy has already started on them. If I dont like them I can always replace them with something else. Im scared to see the outcome tho haha. Hopefully it wont be too much of a fiasco.
