Did you ever stare at a spot for a really long time cuz its comfortable? and when you look away all you wanna do is go back and stare at that specific spot because staring at other places doesnt feel as relaxing?
yeah.. i just did that for about 15 minutes. basically im editing a 60 page manual for our ERP system and i got to a part that was like... really long and complicated so i got discouraged and stared at my keyboard.. specifically the place underneath the "Delete" button and above the left arrow.
It felt really good. i didnt wanna look away. trust me.. i tried. that special spot felt good while it lasted.. now i kinda dont wanna stare there anymore.
</rant>
and i apologize for wasting a minute of your life

I do that, and then when I look away, it is like I am blind...everything goes dark for a few seconds while my eyes adjust to seeing something else...it is weird and cool at the same time...
I call it my "monkey fucking a football" stare.

Just don't ever do that when a chick is in view. I did that to some dude's chick. Funny thing was, I didn't even realize that she was hot till the guy did the waving hand thing to get me to stop staring. I was so far out of it, I didn't even realize there was anyone there. Sucks, I got busted for blankly staring. I could have atleast got caught for ACTUALLY checking her out.

I caqn focus on an area or object on the wall and fuzz out everything around it. So this one thing is super crisp and clear but everything else is just out of focus.
Also sometimes when im watching tv Ill zone on the screen. Ill be looking but not watching, the whole screen starts to slide to the right and jerk back. The longer I hold it the more intense it gets.
I have been able to do this since I was 12...

I do the same thing, but my vision doesn't fade out haha -- If I go from staring to looking right at a clock, or something that moves... It suddenly moves in slow motion, seems like it takes a few seconds for the second hand to tick once.. then when I look again its fine haha..

I tend to stare at nothing in particular, more a matter of zoning out
