bleed it at the master cylinder.
are you using the vacuum hose/water bottle method? stick about 3' vacuum hose on the end of the shrader valve (make sure it fits on the valve nipple tight) and stick the other end in a crystal geyser bottle with brake fluid in it (or other bottle of your choice, hell even the brake fluid bottle works), open the valve and pump the brakes. air will be released into the bottle but when it sucks back in, only brake fluid gets pulled in.
if enough fluid came out of the lines while they are off, chances are air worked its way through the system. do the same as above but from the master cylinder valves.
