Anyway up for grabs is my 1997 v6. I have had this car for 4 years and 30,000 miles of driving. It's been "slightly" modified.
You can use the link to the left to view my mustang. In there I have my mods listed as well as a few pics.
Some things to be aware of....
I hit a turkey 1 week or so ago. The windshield is smashed thats all. Im replacing it.
The car was in an accident in November. I hit a guard rail. I was going only about 15-20mph at impact but it crinkled the fender up and smashed the headlight. I have replaced the fender with an off color green one. The lights have been replaced as well as the panel they mount in. The bumper is still scratched where I hit. There is slight damage to the hood on the corner, I have been told it can be fixed.
Two months prior to that accident, a hood flew up into my windshield and dented the roof up. This was the unfortunate product of poor manufacturing.
Fuel filler pipe seal to the tank is cracked. A 20 dollar part that can be put in without dropping the tank. Because of this the tank leaks when its filled above 3/4.
AC does not work. O rings are bad on the block that connects to the compressor.
Tires need aligning, the fronts are worn quite a bit on the outside. I think it is because of the lighter motor internals. It has not been aligned since back on the road.
The car has a brand new top end from the heads up. 60k on the bottom and only about 13k or so on the new stuff.
It is tuned with a 3 position chip. On the gas tune you can pull 25mpg on the highway.
I have the owners manual and maintenance book.
Car was maintained very well by me. New oil every 3500, Synthetic since the swap. Brakes are good, rotors are 15k old and pads about 7k. It will have a brand new windshield(suicide turkeys...) The coolant and the tranny fluid have both been recently changed. Cooling system was flushed and reflushed before refilling.
The paint, the good part of it I mean, is only 3 years old and shines like new. The car has a good side and a bad side haha.
It comes with a set of Cobra r's 17x9 if youd like. One of the rims is busted(bought the set that way to save money).
Tranny shifts great, light shift kit installed so it will last longer than a normal 4r70w.
The owner before me was my late great uncle. He drove it from 1997 until 2000 when he passed at 91 years old. Old man driven until 30k miles.
The kbb says the car is worth 4k in good condition. It is not in good condition but I think 4k is appropriate to ask considering what is done and how much I have put into this car.
I will be happy to answer any and all questions, I want to sell this and if you want to negotiate the price I am willing to go a certain extent..
$4,000 obo

PM me for a phone number if you need it.
BTW...I will consider driving to meet someone to show them the car in a few weeks when I have the new windshield in from that damn turkey.
That is the thing, the guy that did the paint never gave me any or saved what was left of the mix so there is no way of getting a PERFECT match. It is very similair to the stock color and with a little patience maybe you could find a match. I would say it would just be easier to just repaint it the original color. It is just the stock with a flake in the last layer.
I have the motor torn down to put new lifters in as well as readjust the rockers. They were starting to tick and definitely were a major negative. I was also considering selling the performance parts off the topend in exchange for some cash and stock pieces.
Ill get some pics and post them in like 10 minutes.
I have the subs/wiring pulled already if you prefer.
Sorry for all the pollenn and dust but it has been sitting in my garage since I hit that turkey in the beginning of June.
Carfax returns one accident that I didnt even know happened lol. It was in 2002, says.... 06/21/2002 MONROE TOWNSHIP, NJ State Agency REAR IMPACT WITH ANOTHER VEHICLE (Case #:02-11778)
Let me know if you need more, I still need to clean out my interior so when that gets done I can get you more of the inside and cluster.
