I'm trying to find a good limited slip differential for a 7.5" rear end. I'm told Auburn and Eaton are very good quality. I just cant seem to find any that arent for the 8.8" rear end. The regular trac-lok just isnt going to be strong enough for the application I am doing. If it helps, this will be my setup:
4.2 Stroker, NA
3.73 rear gears
Stage 2+ clutch/Aluminum flywheel
The OEM tlok unit will be fine unless you plan to rag it out on the drag strip. By OEM I just mean the OEM tlok they make for the 7.5 inch rear.
If you plan to drag race it or run sticky tires then it might be wise to upgrade to a better unit as mentioned above so you dont have to tear down or replace the rear end as it can be expensive.

It's just going to be a daily driver. It will never see the track at all. If thats the case, then just a regular unit will be alright? Like maybe get the Ford Racing T-Lok Differential?
I have ragged the shit out of factory t-locks and never had a problem with them
Well, because of what my setup is going to be (4.2L Stroker, with an eventual single turbo setup) I am hearing that the factory unit wont be enough. I'm looking into the Detroit Tru Trac from drivetrainspecialists.com. That should be a solid enough unit without having to swap the whole damn rear end out hehe.
