i thought their ecu's dont unleash the full amount of power until a certain amount of miles are put on the motor. perhaps this is how it is achieved, by actually limiting the throttle input.
i know when they do pulley swaps and tunes on the GT500 they have to tune extra rich because as the ecu relearns itself it bleeds off less boost so you must make sure you have enough fuel in the tune so when its done learning you are still where you should be.
