X pipe V6 V8?

Hope you guys can help me. Is there a major difference between the V6 and the V8 x pipes? Or is it some thing I can adapt

do u have a v6 or a v8? cause an exhaust will fit differently depending on your set up. i.e. a v6 is stock with a single exhaust output, u have to make it a dual exhaust to do an x-pipe.

my car is a v6, but it has true duals from the manifolds to the back
