For the record, that was not the 7-10 split...what he picked is what is know as the flying eagle. You set a pin around board 15 on one lane and bounce it into the other lane to take out the other pin. It is a cool trick shot...one that pro bowler Chris Barnes has perfected.

It is a cool trick, but the poster of the vid needs a clue before giving the guy credit for something he didn't do.

Sorry I don't know enough about bowling to know any better I was just going by the video. It looked like a 7-10 to me in his lane at least.

By original poster I mean the person that posted the video and titled it wrong...not you.

There is no way to get pins to fly from one lane to anther when located in the pin deck area which is where the pin would need to be in order to be a 7-10. Even me, who throws the ball 26-27 mph can't get pins to go from lane to lane like that when on spot. To fly out of the back area, no problem, but no way to get it to come out the front and cross over. There is a 3' long wall that extends from where the 7 pin would be on spot that it would have to come toward the bowler and then turn around and go towards the other pin(s) on the other lane. The pin he hit is about 10-12' from where the 7 pin would normally be on spot...and it is sitting on the board that would be approximately consistent with the 2 pin spot.
