Are all of the Roush Mustangs supercharged? I know not all of the Coddington/Roush mustangs were not so I was curious about the Roush. And is $14,500 a good price for a 2002 Roush Mustang with 55K miles?

Only stage 3's are SC'ed...unless someone has installed an SC on a lower stage themselves.

14.5 is about right retail blue book for an 02 GT...so I guess 14.5 would be about right for a roush...assuming it is truly a roush. I would want to check for the validity of it being a roush before buying it though.

I would think 8K to 10K for a GT in great shape but then again I'm kinda a tightwad.

What other information do you have on this car?

It depends on the stage, options, mileage, shape, and modifications.

Also...Roush did make a V6 Stage 1 and possibly 2 in 2002. I definitely wouldn't pay 14k for a 02V6...I'll sell you mine for less than that.

Right...but retail blue book on them is 12-14k for some reason.

How long will a supercharger last until there are problems with it?

the roush will be worth more as its more rare and well... cost more new etc. Its not really worth it if its not the stage 3 version... the other stages are basically stock or very close to stock GT's

I am sure the life of the car will be that of an other factory mustang. If it is taken care of it should be fine, but you really dont have a platform to improve on as the stock 2v 4.6 wont take much more.

If it is a V8 Roush, that is a darn good deal IF everything is top notch with it. The Stage 2's (the first V8 package) comes with a pretty nice suspension upgrade package like the Saleen S281's get. It makes a BIG difference in handling, plus it already comes with a nice body kit and wheels. Make sure it is a genuine Roush though. Ask to see paper work, make sure it has all the identification plates and labels etc and get a production number. You can then call Roush with the VIN number and they can verify if it was indeed "Roushed".

Really, anything less than 20k is a good deal for a new edge Roush. (Stage 2 and 3).
