pisses me off.
if i was that bitch's father i would beat the shit out of her and see how she likes it when she never drives, never buy her a car, i never pay for her college, make her get a job at 14, and take her on a vacation to some 3rd world country. it happened to me and it worked fairly well lol (minus the 3rd world country part).

If she was my kid I'd kick her out once it was legal and see where she got in life, or just beat her.
There was some chick down the shore for Prom this year on the phone with her dad cursing at him and shit telling him how shes upset because he got her a brand new honda accord, and it wasnt the car she wanted and he ruined her birthday and whole weekend at the shore and blah blah blah.. If I got a new car, I wouldn't care what it was, I'd be stoked. BLING BLING.

lol, I've never understood the whole, buy your kid a car thing. You let them use a car you own until they can get a job and buy their own. But until then you have a say on when it is brought back, how they drive, etc. When they get their own, it's entirely their responsibility.

im glad my parents didnt buy me a brand new car when i turned 16. When i look back at all the dumb shit i did with my first car, which was a 1995 grand am, a new car would not have been good. |

yes but theres also a flipside.
any parent who can buy their kid a mercedes for a first car did something right. i can only hope im badass enough at life that when i have kids, their first car can be way more badass than the other kids in their school. i always hated the spoiled kids at my school that had the beamers and vettes at that age, but i soon realized it was just jealousy burning hatred, and that when i had kids, i wanted them to be the ones the rest of the kids were jealous over.
on the other side of that, ill make them work for that badass car. when they get their license, their asses are going straight to bondurant or chip barber and theyre going to learn the ropes.
now if my kids are "Brainers" and not into speed, then whatever i can afford thats the nicest theyll get cause theyre probably not going to abuse it. if my kids are into going fast and working on cars, theyll get a car that, while still pretty nice, needs work, so when they put in the wrench time theyre less likely to want to destroy all that effort because they had to impress someone. or ill just make them get a dsm so i can put a rev and speed limiter on it, they cant do burnouts or donuts (awd) and itll have a full cage.
however if im not so badass and thier first car cant be a corvette or the like, then theyre getting a 1000$ special for a first car, like i did (74 mustang II biaotches!), and thats their only handout, any car afterwards they get themselves with their own money and their own loan, and if its a cool enough car, yeah i might co-sign on it so when they cant pay i can call it mine, unless its something decrepid like a civic hatch then no, no cosign for you.
somewhere in this post there was a point but it got lost due to the drugs since my neck is uber fucked up right now, from what i have no idea, all i know is i was fine this morning, tied my shoes and came up and couldnt pull my neck back to save my life, had to walk around work like the hunchback of notre dame. i knew the bottle of vicodin i kept in store for a rainy day would come in handy.

My kids are going to help work and fix up their first cars, they choose what they want, they put in the wrench time and some money for go fast parts and such, then they get taught how to drive right, and if they fuck up the car, then they can pay for the next one.

Then the kids going to think, "Yeah, I went to racing school. I'm invincible. Sure this road is wet, but I can hang it cause I went to racing school." *BAM* tree.
You do realize, cages are actually HORRIBLE for car accidents because the design of the cage is made more for rolling or hitting a brick wall, not being sideswipped by an SUV. Plus when the car does get hit by another, the cage is all but already touching the driver and would easily injure anything near it.
