Well, awhile back the LCD on my faceplate burnt out. I was kinda pissed because for an Alpine, I expected better. Well, I found the repalcement faceplate for around $70.
So should I try to fix it or go buy a new headunit?

One thing to watch out for is new faceplates are not always compatible with headunits. I ran across this on an old Blaupunkt I had a few years back.
