Whats up guys i ran a alero tonite and to make a story short he kicked my ass twice. my car is an auto v6 stang my question is i couldnt get a start the car is horrible for stop is there something i can do as a driver to make it better. oh by the way it is hard to get a good start wit my handcontrols but someone help me lol |

Not much you can do, these cars are very sluggish off the line with the auto.
Only thing I can say is hold the brake while giving it some gas at the same time. You should be able to do this to a point without turning over the tires, giving you a harder launch off the line.

Gears/Tlok = a ton on a 94-98 v6 (half a second perhaps)

It gets a good launch, but you still have that sluggish feeling right afterwards in a 6, just no guts down low.
Meh..still launches better than a FWD on dr's lol...

coolstang: you probably don't want to do a stall, especially if it's your only mod. It requires dropping the transmission and putting a new torque converter on.

ya i know it cost alot cause the droppin of the tranny but i wanted to get a stall and shift kit and my 4.10 and t lock then sct flash tuner but i wanna know where i can order a stall??? |

psh get the whole trans done at the same time thats what I did meaning new converter (3K btw Precision Industries - Stallion Precision Industries - Stallion Torque Converters ) also do the Tlock 4.10s and Al. driveshaft with new Trans cooler and you'll save some money in the long run
I honestly wouldnt have done it any other way

you could always "nuetral bomb" it...that can make for some exciting launches...although I wouldn't suggest it...
