If you have an auto the final gear ratio is close to that of a manual with 3.73 gears. I wouldnt worry about it very much just realize you will lose a couple MPG on the highway and your rpms will always be higher from no on.
Get OEM ford gears (ford racing) and the ford tlok as well.
You can also find an 8.8 rear end with gears in it already, either way you are looking at around 600-700 bucks to get it done right (make sure you do as well... half assing it and cheap jobs = having to do it ALL over again as installation of gears is not just something you can toss in they have to be setup right backlash, pinion depth, crush sleve, wear pattern, if they dont set those things... or know what they are go elsewhere)
