GT H pipe

will a GT H-pipe with cats bolt onto the headers of a v6 or will it not line up?? Also how much worse is the mileage of a GT compared to the V6?

It wont bolt up. I am not sure what you mean by mileage. They are about the sme over all in reliability over time~ some 96-98 4.6Ls seem to start using oil and such as they get high in the miles.

I know thats kind of a loaded question becuase it depends on how you drive and all that but Im just trying to get an idea, because I am looking into a GT.

I get 1-2 mpg worse than my 01 v6 did with gears... so I wouldnt worry to much about it. You should see 19-20mpg~ city/hwy 50/50 mix in the GT which is about what a V6 gets. My v6 managed 22-22mpg and my cobra gets 20/19 and if I only drive in the city... its like 16-17mgp but the gt shouldnt be quite that bad.
