My brother bought a 2007 Grabber Orange Gt and transformed it into a "Twister Special" using graphics from the 1970 Twister Special. He also used a "Fang Performance" shaker hood kit to complete the look along with some 18" Mach1 wheels. He did a complete exhaust system with x-pipes to make it sound right. Looks good...but the Mach 1 needs to come off and that pubic hair looking twister sticker should go as well....

The Mach 1 stripe would look better on the lower portion of the car. It looks out of place right through the middle, like that.

If he's trying to re-create the twister special then he did it right with the twister decal and higher mach 1 stripe.

Whether it's an accurate recreation, or not, it's still ugly down the middle of the door... In my opinion, anyway.

Everyone and their brother has a stripe on the bottom of their doors. He is trying to make it the way Ford would have if there was such a thing - down the middle. As for the Mach1 thing - he did get the wheels correct. He is working on the performance next - he'll get the HP up to a respectable level - something you would expect for a car with MACH1 written on the side of it. I'm trying to talk him into a supercharger... I'd personally like to see 400+ HP out of it when done. thanks for everyones opinions!

I like what he did with the car, im just not a fan of grabber orange period...i think it's an ugly color and ford should bring back screamin' yellow, but then again, I guess I have a personal bias toward the screamin' yellow! lol
