So I have been thinking lately of adding an amp to the car. I kind of like sticking with the brands I already have to keep everything matching. I got the LCD to work on my Alpine CDA - 9087 headunit again so I am going to keep it. I have been looking for a good four channel amp and I found this one.

• variable center-channel high-pass crossover (20-400 Hz in 1/3 octave steps, 6/12/18/24 dB per octave)
• variable front left and right high-pass crossovers (20-200 Hz in 1/3 octave steps, 6/12/18/24 dB per octave)
• variable rear left and right high-pass crossovers (20-200 Hz in 1/3 octave steps, 6/12/18/24 dB per octave)
• sub channel preamp output (20-200 Hz low-pass filter, 6, 12, 18, or 24 dB/octave)
• variable subsonic filter (20-50 Hz in 1/6 octave steps, 6/12/18/24 dB per octave)
• subwoofer phase control (0/180 degrees)
So my question is, if I got this amplifier, would the last channel be enough to power a subwoofer. I not looking to have a loud sub, but rather one to finish out the imaging. And if I did get a sub, I would want a Kicker. Probably something on the cheaper end, like a CompVR.
