that's a damn quick car, wonder what else he has done to it as far as internals...
on a side note, why is it that guys on street tires are obsessed with doing those long, drawn-out, obnoxious burn outs when they are staging? doing that does nothing but get your street tires hot and slick and just tears them up...i counted, he was doing those burn outs for 15+ seconds, that's overkill...and i see guys doing that at the track ALL the time...some far worse than that, on the range of 30+ seconds...keep that up and the tires will be drag slicks before long...

But you can legally burn out at the track.
When I went last year I was doing massive smokey burnouts just to get these little kids riled up who were sitting on the staging line. Just for fun.
But that is a damn quick v6. The exhaust tone though...eh.

makes me wanna do a 75 shot on the buick.. since its non intercooled the nitrous will cool it haha... someone put a 50 shot on their 13.5 second regal, and it ran a 12.0 flat.. *drools*

i would if youre doing it for cooling purposes, especially since you dont have any intake charge cooling system post-sc, thats alot of power lost due to the heated airflow.
guy on our dsmlink boards runs a 50shot pre-fmic and records a tb temperature of below ambient. if its cold enough outside, he can get his pipes to frost over for a few seconds after the run (before the engine temps warm them up again)

ZEX now makes a kit that is just for spooling a turbo. It sprays until the turbo reaches full spool them shuts off automatically. Pretty nifty. I'm definately considering it.

intersting. what rpm do you hit full boost (if youre doing a 3rd gear pull)? buddies 60trim does full 28psi by 4300rpm which is great because its fwd so hes already moving at 60 when it hits so traction problems dont hurt him as bad as with my Evo16g that hit full 22psi at 3400rpm.
i want to go with the same as above with the gsx when i get to that point. though we refer to any shot 50 or under as a "sneaky pete" setup, its mainly used for its cooling benefits and helps spool larger turbos faster. however from a stop it would be useless for me, since ill be using a studderbox feature so i will be launching already under boost, and with a no-lift-to-shift feature i can stay WOT the entire run, when the ecu sees the clutch engage it engages a rev-limiter at whatever setting (usually 5500rpm) so i can stay on the throttle to keep the turbo spooled but not have to worry about redlining the motor.

Hrm I don't care much for the exhaust, but I guess I just hear too much of the engine. Am I right?

yeah its more engine than exhaust which is why it sounds bad......especially the higher rpm's.
sounds better when its under load screaming down the track.
